Historic market town and capital of the old Montgomeryshire.
Castle ruins to run around, or take a stroll up to the war memorial with its amazing views.

The High Street Delicatessen is just amazing, run by a fantastic couple - pop in for a coffee and cake, buy some amazing Welsh small-batch gin and other Welsh produce as well as hand picked top quality produce from other parts of the UK and the world.
The cheese selection is ridiculous.
The Hafren theatre.

Family run Cinema.
Ten pin bowling - family run 2 lanes - great fun.
